Parth Samthaan Opens Up On Suffering With COVID-19 And Being Accused For Violating BMC Rules- EXCLUSIVE
The second wave of Coronavirus has left a lot of celebrities infected. Now, people are behaving normally with the ones who are infected, similar was not the case until last year. Actor Parth Samthaan, who is soon going to be seen in ALT BALAJI's web series Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu, was amongst the first few celebrities who contracted the Coronavirus. Parth, who was playing Anurag in his show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, at that time went under self isolation at his Goregaon resident in Mumbai and kept updating about his health and recovery on social media to keep everyone aware.

Although Parth later got embroiled into a controversy after a few of his society members alleged him of  violating  BMC rules in their various posts on Twitter. However, while sharing his experience of contracting the virus, the actor also opened up on how lack of knowledge and confusion had put him in that situation. Talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively about him contracting the virus, Parth Samthaan said, "To be honest it was not that stressful or anything because I recovered the very next day. But yes there were so many people that I heard of that actually were very severe in that case. I remember it was more of a mental torture because that time it was very new to people. And people were shocked and didn't know how to receive it. Today fortunately we all are aware of it and even we had gone back to work life. It's just that unfortunately cases have increased and people are calling it a second wave. Though we are still figuring out a permanent solution, at least we have the precautionary vaccine with us. Thankfully my parents have been vaccinated, so that's way I am feeling secure. Also trying to stay at home as much as I can." The actor also opened up on his society objecting to him and accusing him for violating BMC rules, "It was funny. My society was also against this thing. There was hell a lot of confusion over there. When I tested positive my helper was also tested positive later. But then my reports came negative whereas his reports were still showing him positive. And I was made to sit in the house because my helper was positive. Which was not safe for me as my doctor clearly suggested that if you are negative and your house help is positive you shouldn't be staying together. Which the society didn't understand. They thought that if one person is positive the entire family should stay in the house itself."

Parth also feels that the ongoing situation needs to be handled maturely, "It was just basically a lack of knowledge with people of today's world. And it's very unfortunate that a lot of educated people were seen during COVID treating you as an animal or alien to the uneducated ones. Like your helper, caretaker, servant, watchman, security guards and the good part was these were the people who were treating things very maturely. A lot of educated people unfortunately have been stuck up and restless. One has to calm themselves down. I am not saying that it is not a serious thing, it is a serious thing. But you have to act maturely."
