Thursday began on a happy note for all Pavitra Rishta fans as Ankita Lokhande treated them with the first teaser of Pavitra Rishta 2. Ever since the show was announced, the actress has been dropping beautiful glimpses from the sets on her social media, leaving everyone excited. After treating fans with her first look, Ankita has now shared the first teaser from the show on her social media accounts. Soon after this, the actress received sweet shout-outs and best wishes from her friends from the industry.
Taking to Instagram, Ankita shared a video and wrote, “Some stories make you believe in love. Witness one such love story on #ZEE5. #PavitraRishta #ItsNeverTooLate." She also tagged her co-star Shaheer Sheikh, actors Pooja Bhamrrah and Piyush Ranade and producer Ekta Kapoor among others.
Rashami Desai sent her wishes by commenting, “All the best sweetheart.” While Aparna Dixit dropped heart emojis, actress Sanjana Sanghi wrote, “Congratulations," along with heart emoticons.

Ankita Lokhande will be seen reprising her iconic role as Archana in the show. Shaheer has been roped in to play Manav, a character that was played by late actor Sushant Singh Rajput in the original show, and later by Hiten Tejwani.
While speaking with SpotBoyE, Shaheer opened up about his apprehensions to take up the show and said, “A lot of people told me that are you sure you want to do this character? Because it was a legendary character of such a hit show played by Sushant Singh Rajput. People will have very high expectations from you. I was anyway not very sure if I should take up the show and after hearing all such things, I started feeling even more nervous. In fact, the first thought I had was, 'Mujhe accept hi nahi karenge log.”
Pavitra Rishta 2 will be released on an OTT platform.
