Pavitra Rishta fame Karanveer Mehra and Nidhi Seth got married on January 24 in a gurudwara. Both the actors have been sharing some adorable snaps from their Mehendi and Haldi ceremony, making our Instagram merrier with their wedding updates. Since the wedding was an intimate affair, they invited only 30 guests for the ceremony but they are planning to hold a reception in Mumbai for their friends. Actor couple Indraneil Sengupta and Barkha Bisht were among the guests present at the wedding ceremony. The couple met in 2008, during the shoot of a commercial and soon after the two fell in love with each other.
Sharing the pictures, Karanveer wrote, “Happy married life to us .. @nidhivseth . #life #love #married. Thank you for making me look presentable @rachitkhanna_turquoise & @shilpa.turquoise” whereas Nidhi too shared a couple of pictures and hashtagged ‘Just Married’. In the pictures, Karanveer is seen wearing a maroon sherwani along with a turban and a sword while his wife Nidhi is wearing a beautiful pastel lehenga with heavy details. The two very well complimented each other and looked perfect in their wedding attire.
After they shared pictures on their respective Instagram accounts, congratulatory messages from Rashami Desai, Karanvir Bohra, Donal Bisht, Ada Khan, Ankita Lokhande, Gurmeet Choudhury and many more came in order.
On finalizing Jan 24 as their wedding date, Nidhi had shared with TOI, “We had shortlisted a few dates, including one in December. However, we wanted 2020 out of our lives and hence, settled for January 2021. We checked online and found that January 24 was an auspicious date. I realised that I am not shooting on that day, and that was another reason we zeroed in on this date.”
