Poonam Pandey Breaks Down After Watching Munawar Faruqui-Anjali’s Romance: 'Wish My Marriage Lasted, Akeli Marugi Main'

One of the controversial contestants of Lock Upp Poonam Pandey recently broke down in tears while remembering her broken marriage with Sam Bombay. In the recent episode, Poonam was seen getting emotional over her marriage with Sam. For the unversed, Poonam and Sam tied the knot in September 2020 but after two weeks of marriage, she filed a complaint against him of sexual abuse and domestic violence.
The recent episode showed Ankita Lokhande as the special guest for the weekend episode where she teased Munawar Faruqui and Anjali Arora about their growing friendship in the show. After Ankita left, Poonam sat on a bench and got emotional, and was seen crying. Seeing her like this, Anjali asked her the reason behind her restlessness to which she replied, "Abhi break up hua tha.” Later Munawar also joined the conversation and tried to make her laugh. When he asked Anjali about the reason, she told him that she had just broken up. Hearing this, Munawar in an attempt to make the environment light said, "Hey! Poonam continued crying bitterly and was heard saying, "Maine bahut try kiya yaar chaar saal but nahi sambhalna yaar bahut try kiya maine Meri bhi shaadi tikk gayi hoti yaar”. Munawar tried to console her by saying that there must be something better written for her by God, but Poonam kept crying and said, "I don't think I will ever get anything in life. Akeli Marungi Main.”
