Model-turned-actress Poonam Pandey tied the knot with her long-time boyfriend Sam Bombay in a private ceremony on September 10, 2020. But days after the marriage, the actress accused Sam Bombay of assaulting her. Recently Poonam opened up about her decision of filing a complaint against her estranged husband for the second time and also shared how unfortunate it is for any girl.
In a recent interaction with The Times Of India, Poonam expressed, “No woman wants to go through such incidents. I married him but then that happened and it was unfortunate. It is not silly or funny as it sounds. For the unaware, Poonam and Sam announced their wedding by dropping pictures on social media. However, after a few days, Poonam Pandey filed a complaint in Goa claiming that Sam had allegedly molested, threatened, and assaulted her and claimed that it was a half-murder. However later they both patched up saying every marriage goes through thick times.
Later that year, Poonam, yet again filed a complaint against Sam Bombay for assaulting her. Pandey was hospitalized as she received injuries.
Meanwhile, Poonam is all set to get locked up in Kangana Ranaut’s jail as she is participating in the ALTBalaji and MX Player reality show ‘Lock Upp’, A promo of the same has been shared on ALTBalaji Instagram handle confirming Poonam as the third contestant of the show. Talking to us about participating in the controversial reality show, Poonam said she was 'shocked and surprised' at the same time.
