Porus Actress Suhani Dhanki To Tie The Knot In December
It’s double celebration for Suhani Dhanki. Not only is the actress’ comeback show, Porus, all set to go on-air next month, but she is also getting married in December
Suhani Dhanki, who is all set to make a comeback with Sony TV’s historical drama, Porus, is on a high professionally and personally. For, not only is the show all set to go on-air next month but also, she is soon tying the knot.
The actress has
been dating Prathmesh Modi, a financial consultant settled in London, for a
year and the couple got engaged on February 12. The two will take wedding
wows onDecember 3. Talking exclusively to SpotboyE.com, Suhani spilled the
beans on how she met her future husband and wedding plans.
“It's a big
moment for me as Porus is a lavish show and I got an opportunity to play the
main lead. At the same time, I will be getting married soon. I am over the
moon,” shares Suhani.
The actress goes on to reveal that she met Prathmesh through common friends.
“We were friends for while before he popped the question and I said ‘Yes’. We
then spoke to our parents who approved the match and we got engaged on February
12, 2017 – three months after the proposal.”
Talking about
the wedding, Suhani informs, “We will have a grand Gujarati wedding in Mumbai
which will be attended by family and friends. From the telly world, the cast of
Porus, Piyaa Albela, Shafaq Naaz and Riya Deepsi (Mahabharata), Mahima Makwana
(Adhuri Kahaani Hamari). Also, a large section of the Indian Classical Dance
fraternity will be a part of the do (Suhani is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer).”
Suhani has been part of several shows in her career, so will that take a back
seat after marriage? “Prathmesh and I share great understanding and he is
comfortable with my career choices, be it acting or dancing. Thus, I do not
have to compromise on that front. In fact, he follows my performances closely
and is supportive. I will shuttle between London and India,” she says.
When asked if
the couple has decided on the honeymoon destination, the actress blushes and
says, “I want to keep that a secret.”
Interestingly, Suhani
shares her wedding date with Bharti Singh- Harsh Limbachiyaa and Aashka
Goradia-Brent Goble .
