Qubool Hai 2.0: Amrapali Gupta Says She Hasn't Been Approached For Surbhi Jyoti-Karan Singh Grover Starrer Yet
With the news of Qubool Hai 2.0 starring Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Singh Grover being reprised, fans went berserk and showed their love for the show. Now Amrapali Gupta aka Tanveer reveals that she hasn't been approached for the sequel yet
SpotbpoyE.com was the first one to tell you that Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Singh Grover will reunite after 8 years for the digital sequel of their iconic show Qubool Hai. Yesterday we also brought exclusive news that Shalini Kapoor who played the role of Karan Singh Grover's mother in the show will also be seen in this sequel. However we heard another important character from the show, 'Tanveer' who was an antagonist and was played by TV actress Amrapali Gupta might also join the show but makers have no plans as such for now.
When Amrapali was asked if she is making a comeback with Qubool Hai 2.0 the actress said, "I've not been approached yet. But let's see what is in the store. I'm not too greedy." Actress Amrapali Gupta who left no stone unturned and played the third woman so beautifully in the love story of Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Singh Grover in Qubool Hai says that the show is close to her heart, "Qubool Hai came to me as an opportunity. I never thought it would change my life. Even I wasn't confident about the continuity of my role. As an antagonist, you always have a limited track. But luckily people loved me and my track continued to be the longest. The show will always remain close to my heart." Amrapali known for featuring in popular television shows like Teen Bahuraniyaan, Adhuri Kahaani Hamari and Ishqbaaaz says that 'Tanveer' is an iconic antagonist character. She adds, "Tanveer was not just a character. It was creatively given birth. The role needed too much effort from a different level of expressions, eye blinks to deliver dialogues in an expressful way. Each day was giving me more responsibility to carry it on. I feel people started hating me to the next level and I paid for it. As there are many experiences I faced after the show in real life. Once I wasn't allowed to offer prayers in a temple and was attacked by my fans. I laugh thinking all that. But I'm sure Tanveer is iconic and will be celebrated in the history of television." Gupta replaced Nisha Nagpal in the show and was accepted by audiences in no time. She played the role for 3 years and later on was telecasted for similar roles in many other projects. She says, "I feel being typecast. But I had no complaints at all. I enjoy my work. And yes antagonists are always creative efforts. They get extra attention to be it in their costumes to their screen time. I actually enjoy it."
In her recent work, Amrapali was part of TV shows like Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara, Bahu Begum and Tujhse Hai Raabta.
