SpotboyE.com was the first one to bring to you the news of Surbhi Jyoti and Karan Singh Grover's reunion after 8 years. We exclusively informed you that the famous jodi of Asad and Zoya from popular TV show Qubool Hai will come back for the digital sequel on Zee 5.

And now we get you another update on the series which has already raised the excitement level of fans. Though this time the show will have a fresh love story between the two, we hear that the producer is planing to retain some old cast along with Karan and Surbhi. A source close to the project informed us, "Shalini Kapoor will once again play mother of Asad (Karan Singh Grover) in the show. The storyline will be completely different from season 1 and she will once again play an important role in Asad and Zoya's chemistry. Shalini will soon start shooting for show."

Shalini, who was last seen in Star Plus' Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum, has also been a part of some famous shows like Geet Kkusum, Hui Sabse Parayi, Devo Ke Dev... Mahadev and Swaragini.

Coming back to Qubool Hai sequel, during the lockdown, the show was re-telecasted on the channel and the OTT received a good response. And it seems this has convinced the channel to recreate the iconic show, retaining the original leads. A few months back, channel's another show Jamai Raja starring Nia Sharma, Ravi Dubey and Achint Kaur released on ZEE 5 with a fresh story titled Jamai Raja 2.O.

We hope that Qubool Hai 2.0 also wins fans' hearts the way the original show did.
