Ace comedian Raju Srivastava left for the heavenly abode due to cardiac arrest at the age of 58. He breathed last on September 21, 2022, at AIIMS Hospital in Delhi. Ever since he was admitted to the hospital fans were praying hard for his speedy recovery. His death left a void in everyone’s heart. This is a difficult time for his family, friends, and fans.
On September 22, 2022, the final rites of Raju Srivastava were performed by his son, Ayushman Srivastava at Nigam Bodh Ghat in Delhi. His son, Ayushman has stayed away from the media glare. As he bid adieu to his father he looked inconsolable. Even his wife Shikha was inconsolable. Raju Srivastava's close friends, Sunil Pal, Ahsaan Qureshi, and Surendra Sharma also paid their last respects.

Earlier, as reported by Bollywoodlife, Raju Srivastava had once told his family members and close ones if he ever died they should perform his last rites with a happy frame of mind. He wanted his loved ones to laugh on his final journey. In his impressive career spanning more than a decade, the ace comedian made people laugh with his comic shows and live gigs. His character of Gajodhar Bhaiyyaa was immensely loved by fans.
For the unversed, the comedian collapsed while running on a treadmill, working out in a gym at a hotel in New Delhi, and was rushed to AIIMS. He underwent an angioplasty on August 10, 2022, as he had suffered a heart attack.
Talking about Raju Srivastava's film journey, he appeared in films like Maine Pyar Kiya, Baazigar, Bombay to Goa and Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya. However, Raju shot to fame when he had participated in the reality show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. People love him for his portrayal of the comic character, 'Gajodhar bhaiya'.
