Ace comedian and actor Raju Srivastava suffered from cardiac arrest while working out at a gym on August 10, 2022, and he was rushed to AIIMS Hospital in New Delhi. He also underwent angioplasty on Wednesday. His family recently issued a statement mentioning that Raju’s condition is stable amid rumours and fake news.

On August 12, 2022, Raju Srivastava’s family issued a statement updating his health condition amid the rumours and fake news around his condition. His family issued the statement through the comedian’s official Instagram handle. 






The statement was issued in Hindi, which read, “Dear All, Raju Srivastava Ji’s condition is stable. We are praying for his speedy recovery. The doctors are treating him and are doing their best. Thanks to all the well-wishers for their continued love ad support. Please ignore any rumour/fake news being circulated. Please pray for him.- Raju Srivastava’s Family.”

His fans and well-wishers expressed their feelings in the comment section. One comment read, “Kuch ni hoyga bhaiya jldi waps a k faadu video bnao#loveyourajubhai”, another comment read, “Get well soon sir”. One of the users commented, “prayers and wishes”. Another one commented, “Raju ji jaldi ache ho jaenge aap sabko hasaate ho sab acha hoga. God bless you sir”. One fan wrote, “Praying for speedy recovery”, another fan wrote, “Hame aapka intezaar hai bhaiya jaldi aaiye bus”.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had reportedly called Raju’s wife to check up on Comedian’s health and extended his support. Even, Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh have assured their complete support to Raju Srivastava's family.

The 58-year-old comedian is also known for his appearance in Bollywood films like Salman Khan’s starrer Maine Pyar Kiya, Shah Rukh Khan’s Baazigar, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, Bombay to Goa, Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya to name a few. He also participated in Bigg Boss season 3. He came to the limelight after showing his comedy skills in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. He is also the chairman of the Film Development Council of Uttar Pradesh.
