Raju Srivastava Health Update: Hospital Source Claims Comedian ‘On Life Support’; Contradicts Shekhar Suman’s Tweet, ‘Things Looking Slightly Positive’-REPORTS
A source from AIIMS hospital claimed that Raju Srivastava is critical now which contradicted Shekhar Suman’s tweet about the comedian getting better and moving his fingers and shoulders
Raju Srivastava is undoubtedly one of the most loved stand comedians in India. He suffered from cardiac arrest while working out at a gym in a hotel on August 10, 2022. The comedian was rushed to the AIIMS after which he underwent angioplasty on Wednesday. He is closely monitored at the hospital and according to the latest reports, ‘he is critical’.
Shekhar Suman, who is very close to the comedian, tweeted last night that his condition has improved dismissing all the rumours about Raju Srivastava’s critical health condition. He Tweeted, “Good news ..Raju moved his fingers and shoulders..things looking slightly positive according to the doctors.your prayers are working.Keep praying.”

On the contrary, as per the reports of Tarun Mitra, a source from the hospital revealed that Raju Srivastava is now critical and is put on life support in ICU. He is under strict observation by Professor Dr. Nitish Naik of the Department of Cardiology at AIIMS.
Even, his family issued a statement updating his health condition on August 12, 2022. The statement read, “Dear All, Raju Srivastava Ji’s condition is stable. We are praying for his speedy recovery. The doctors are treating him and are doing their best. Thanks to all the well-wishers for their continued love ad support. Please ignore any rumour/fake news being circulated. Please pray for him.- Raju Srivastava’s Family.”
For the unversed, the 58-year-old comedian is also the chairman of the Film Development Council of Uttar Pradesh. He came to the limelight after showing his comedy skills in The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.
The ace comedian had his notable stint in Bollywood films like Salman Khan’s starrer Maine Pyar Kiya, Shah Rukh Khan’s Baazigar, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon, Bombay to Goa, Aamdani Atthanni Kharcha Rupaiya to name a few. He also participated in Bigg Boss season 3.
