Raju Srivastava, who came to the limelight after his stint in ‘The Great Indian Laughter Challenge’ was rushed to AIIMS hospital in New Delhi on August 10, 2022, after suffering from a cardiac arrest. He was put on life support as he was critical. As per the latest update by the comedian’s personal secretary, ‘his condition is improving’.
Recently ANI took to their Twitter handle and shared an update on Raju Srivastava’s health condition provided by the stand-up comedian's personal secretary Garvit Narang. The Tweet read, “The health condition of Raju Srivastava is improving. We pray that he recovers soon: Garvit Narang, Personal Secretary of Raju Srivastava. He was admitted to AIIMS Delhi on August 10 after experiencing chest pain and collapsing while working out at the gym.”
His fans were happy to read about his improved health condition. One user commented, “Get well soon.” and another one commented, “I pray to his wellness”.

Meanwhile, the legendary actor of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan also sent an audio message to Raju wishing him a speedy recovery. The message said, “It's enough Raju. Rise up Raju, and keep teaching us all to laugh.” The message was played after consulting the doctor, though Srivastava was unconscious at that time. The doctor claimed that listening to the message of a loved one can help in faster health improvement. Raju’s family has not made the audio note public yet.
Earlier, his family had issued an official statement regarding his health condition on August 12, 2022, “Dear All, Raju Srivastava Ji’s condition is stable. We are praying for his speedy recovery. The doctors are treating him and are doing their best. Thanks to all the well-wishers for their continued love ad support. Please ignore any rumour/fake news being circulated. Please pray for him.- Raju Srivastava’s Family.”
For the unversed, the 58-year-old comedian collapsed while running on a treadmill, working out in a gym at a hotel in New Delhi, and was rushed to AIIMS. He underwent angioplasty on August 10, 2022, as he had suffered a heart attack.
