Rakhi Sawant Calls Estranged Hubby Adil Khan Durrani ‘Darinda Aadmi’; Says, ‘Nahi Chahiye Koi Shaadi, Koi Pyaar’
Rakhi Sawant spoke about her chances at falling in love again and getting married during the promotions of her song Jhootha
Internet sensation Rakhi Sawant has taken over the headlines for the past few months. The actress left everyone in shock when she announced that she had secretly gotten married to her boyfriend Adil Khan Durrani. However, the drama between the estranged couple leading up to Adil’s arrest for mishandling her funds all unfolded in front of the netizens leaving them with uncomfortable feelings.
Rakhi even went on to release a song Jhootha, that tells her experience of the past year. It speaks about Adil’s infidelity, her mother’s death and how she came out of the toxic environment. Now, during the promotions of the song, in an interview with Koimoi, the actress spoke about the possibility of falling in love again and getting married for the second time. Getting emotional when asked if she is open to love, the Main Hoon Na actress expressed how she feels love and marriage is not for her. She stressed on the fact that what Adil did broke her heart and that “nahi chahiye koi shaadi, koi pyaar.” She just wants to focus on her work. She kept on repeating that she doesn’t want anything of that sort. The 44-year-old actress went on to talk about the betrayal she faced at the hands of Adil and how her mother’s spirit witnessed everything and saved her from further ruin. She told the entertainment publication, “Aaj mere maa ne mujhe bacha liya hai. Khuda aur mere maa ne mujhe bacha liya. Aise darinde aadmi ke saath main zindagi nahi guzaar sakti. Joh shaadi ko shaadi na maane, biwi ko biwi na maane, insaan ko insaan na maane, pyaar ko sirf ek khilona samjhe.”
For the unversed, Adil was arrested by the Oshiwara police and sent to judicial custody by the Andheri Court. He was arrested after Rakhi had filed an FIR against him for mishandling her funds. Through her many media interactions she also accused him of killing her mother by not paying for her cancer treatment when the actress was busy shooting for Bigg Boss Marathi season 4. He also has an FIR filed against him in Mysuru by an Iranian woman, who accused him of raping her.
