Recently seen in popular TV show, Bigg Boss 14 Rakhi Sawant has been in the limelight for entertaining the audience, it also won’t be incorrect to call her controversy's favourite child, with the amount of drama she gets on screen. The actress who broke down in Bigg Boss 14 as her mother Jaya Sawant underwent her cancer treatment, had once revealed how her early days were full of struggles. Revealing that her mother worked in a hospital as a janitor and father was a police constable.
Few years ago when Rakhi graced Rajeev Khandelwal hosted TV chat show, Juzz Baat, she shared that her mother cleaned garbage at the hospitals; sometimes, they did not have food even to eat and had to look for leftover foods. "My mother worked in the hospital and used to pick up the garbage strip there. We also had problems with eating and used to find leftover food," said Rakhi. She also revealed being badly beaten by one of her family members when she practiced dance.
"Not just that, she also shared that whenever she used to practise dance, her maternal uncle would beat her badly. My uncle used to thrash me mercilessly. In my family, they bothered about having no food to eat, but they were bothered about a girl should not dance," said Rakhi.
Also she had revealed that merciless beating has resulted into several stitches on her body. "I have been beaten so much in my life that my body is full of stitches. I bore all these just to go ahead in life," she added. The actress who is popular as Rakhi Sawant also revealed her real name, her name is Neeru Bheda. Further she also revealed an ugly truth about the industry and shared being exploited during auditions.
"I was still a kid at that time. Whenever the producers used to tell me to 'show' what I got, I used to start dancing in front of them. But I did not know they wanted to see something else. They used to say we have seen enough of dance, show us what we want to see. I have been exploited, I am not denying that. I cannot tell anything more in detail, "revealed Rakhi.
