Rakhi Sawant's Mother's FUNERAL: Actress Arrives With Mom’s Mortal Remains, Performs Her Last Rites; Adil Khan, Farah Khan, Rashami Desai Console Her
Rakhi Sawant's mother’s last rites were held today at Municipal Christian Cemetery in Mumbai and Farah Khan, Rashami Desai and others attended her funeral
Rakhi Sawant’s mother Jaya Bheda passed away on January 28 after her long battle with a brain tumour and cancer. Her funeral is being held today at Municipal Christian Cemetery in Mumbai and many celebrities arrived at the funeral. Rakhi accompanied by her husband Adil Khan Durrani and family and friends was seen arriving with her mom's mortal remains at Municipal Christian Cemetery in Mumbai. She was inconsolable and looked shattered.
Several photos and videos of Rakhi performing the last rites of her mother surfaced online and it is heartbreaking to see the actress in such a condition. Her close friends and celebs including, Farah Khan, Rashami Desai, Sangeeta Kapure, and Ehsaan Qureshi were spotted at the funeral. As her mother’s final journey began, Rakhi burst into tears and got emotional during the rituals. Rashami was seen hugging Rakhi as she tried consoling her. Speaking to ETimes, Farah at the funeral said, “It is extremely heartbreaking for anyone who loses their mother. Moms are always important. I haven't met her much but every time she was unwell I was on a call with Rakhi and I feel, you all should please give her some space while she is mourning. I am sure she has always made her mother proud and she will keep continuing to do that with her work."
After the tragic demise of her mother, Rakhi Sawant shared a statement on social media and it read, “With deep sorrow, I, Rakhi Sawant, inform you (about) the sudden death of my beloved mother. Many of you know that she was suffering from some medical conditions… I’m sad to say that she is gone… join us for the funeral service of my mother at 12:00 afternoon.”
