Lately, with this ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Bigg Boss 14’s Rakhi Sawant has been making a lot of appearances in the city, showing her entertainment quotient to her fans and followers. The actor was once again spotted in the city where she was seen purchasing vegetables, wearing a PPE suit. Though some found it funny, some were upset with her behaviour as they called her out for bargaining with the vendors. Many digital users thought that it was not right for Rakhi to bargain with the vendors during this pandemic as their income is quite low and they need more money.
In the video, Rakhi can be seen asking the vegetable sellers to give her the items at half price. She was also seen bargaining for a packet of garlic, asking them to give it in Rs 150 instead of Rs 200. Furthermore, Rakhi says that during the lockdown sellers have been asking for more money from poor people like us (referring it to herself). To which, the seller says calls her ‘Paisawala’. In return, Rakhi says, “Paisewali hoon toh mein tumhari liye kamati hu kya? Itna mehnat karti hu mein reality show mein” In the end, Rakhi was seen rejoicing as her bill comes to Rs 260 and was seen hailing the vendors.
However, netizens criticised her for the same as one user commented, “Plz don’t bargain with local vendors. They need the money more than us” while another one wrote, “Garibo se baw taw mat karo mall me jakr kartey ho kya bargaining” Watch the entire IGTV here.
There was another one who thought, “What is she talking ?? This people are not rich as she is!!
