Ramayan: Dipika Chikhlia Aka Sita Clocks In 100k Followers On Instagram; Actress Thanks Her Insta Family

Actress Dipika Chikhlia gained immense popularity after she essayed the beautiful and graceful role of goddess Sita in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan. The mythological show which aired in 1987 gained the iconic status over time. The leads of the show - Dipika Chikhlia who played Goddess Sita, Arun Govil who played Lord Ram and Sunil Lahri who played Ram’s brother Lakshman are still considered to be deities. Ever since Ramayan got re-telecasted amidst the Coronavirus lockdown, they received a lot of love from the audiences just the way the show received back in the late 80s and early 90s.
Even today, the show has topped TRPs, it looks like the re-run of Ramayan has benefited Sita aka Dipika Chikhlia's Instagram account. How so? Well, the actress recently shared the news that she has clocked in 100k followers on Instagram while also thanking them for all the love. For the same, she shared the screenshot of her account and captioned it as, "Thank you soo much to my insta family love you all soo much. 100k."
Soon after the post was uploaded, the congratulatory messages came in from all corners. There was one fan who commented, "Congratulations aap pehle se hi isse jyada deserve kerte hain."
Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan's re-telecast started from March 28, 2020. Besides Ramayan, another epic saga BR Chopra's Mahabharata too has made a comeback to television screens and is telecasted on DD Bharti. Apart from this mythological shows, other iconic shows like Circus, Dekh Bhai Dekh, Byomkesh Bakshi and many more too have returned the TV screens.
