Though Ramayan lived up to the expectations of the audience, it left them a little disappointed with producers chopping off certain scenes from the Raavan slaughter sequence

Ramayan: Raavan Slaughter Scene Edited For Telecast, Fans Disappointed; 'Work Of Art Deserves To Be Seen Without Tampering'
Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan comeback on the small screen during the lockdown period proved to be a successful implementation. Viewership of this show rocketed high like never before, as per Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Hindi GEC, Doordarshan recorded the highest ever TRP since 2015. The more it left audience locked at home excited and glued to it their television sets as it aired, it left them disappointed towards the climax of the show. Audience witnessed a lot of scenes being edited during the Raavan slaughter sequence.

Many viewers taking to the social networking accounts expressed of being disappointed with the makers editing some seen of the ultimate showdown between Lord Ram and Raavan. Also one of the Twitter users in his series of tweets mentioned about sequence of Lakshman and Urmila reunion and also urged the creators to release the uncut version for the audience. The show was aired twice in a day, now has finally come to an end. Check out the tweets-

Also with the end of Lord Ram and Raavan’s battle and return of Lord Ram to his kingdom in Ayodhya, makers will air Uttar Ramayan from April 19 to keep the audience entertained during the extended lockdown period.
