Well, it seems like online trolling has become a part and parcel of celebrities’ life. Every day one or the other actor gets trolled on social media. Recently, television actress Dipika Chikhlia, who is widely known for playing Sita in the original Ramayan, has come under the radar of trolls for her recent look. Dipika shared a picture of herself where she was seen wearing a white shirt teamed with a skirt and tie. She was posing alongside her girl gang, holding a wine glass. However, the photo did not go down well with fans and netizens who trolled the actress.
Soon after the photo surfaced online, people started trolling Dipika saying she is not supposed to wear a dress like this. Many also slammed her for holding a wine glass. Taking to the comments section of this viral picture, one irate user wrote, “Ye Apka Khon Sa Avtar Hai...? Sorry, Dekh Kar Bilkul bhi Acha Nahi Laga...” Another commented, “Maa ye aapne Haath me kaunsi drink le rakhi hai?.”
One comment read, “Aapko aise kpde nhi pehnne chaiye dipikaji hamne aapko devi ka drja diya hua h so.” However, after facing severe backlash, Dipika Chikhlia deleted the picture.
In an early interview with Hindustan Times, Dipika had said Ramayan was a once-in-a-lifetime role. “I would love to do something like this once the lockdown is over. When I am no more, my body of work shouldn’t only be Ramayan, it should be much more. The movies I have done in Kannada or in Bengal, all of them have broken records. I should have a good body of work in the Hindi cinema apart from Ramayan,” she was quoted saying.
