Rape Complainant In Karan Oberoi Case Claims "She Has Been Attacked And Threatened To Take Back The Case"
The astrologer, who has accused TV actor Karan Oberoi of rape, was allegedly attacked by two unknown bikers, this morning at 6:30, at Lokhandwala back road while she was jogging. An FIR has been filed at Oshiwara Police station
A new twist in the Karan Oberoi rape case controversy! The astrologer, who has accused the TV actor of raping her, has claimed that this morning at 6:30, she was attacked by two unknown bikers while she was jogging at Lokhandwala back road, Andheri (West). She is at Oshiwara Police station, currently, to lodge an FIR.
The lady has said the bikers threw water at her along with a chit that read, “take the case back”. And also added, it mentioned this time they have thrown water but next time it could be chemical. The astrologer has sustained minor injuries and will be taken to Cooper hospital for a medical examination. Police is verifying her claims via CCTV footage.
Meanwhile, Karan has been sent back to judicial custody for 14 days more, after his bail plea was rejected on May 17 and on May 23. A dejected and disappointed Karan, while heading back to the jail on May 23, got a panic attack. The famous TV actor was arrested for allegedly raping and blackmailing a woman on May 5 in suburban Oshiwara. The woman complained to police that Oberoi, who was in a relationship with her since 2016, allegedly raped her on the pretext of marrying her. Based on the woman’s complaint, Oberoi was arrested on and booked under Indian Penal Code Sections 376 (rape) and 384 (extortion), Oshiwara police station’s senior inspector Shailesh Pasalwad said.
