Rati Pandey On Opportunities In The OTT Space: 'I Want To Do Action-Packed Roles'-EXCLUSIVE
Television popular actress Rati Pandey wants to explore the OTT space now.
Actress Rati Pandey has been a part of several TV shows, including Miley Jab Hum Tum, Hitler Didi and Shaadi Mubarak. She now wants to explore new avenues in the field of entertainment. Rati says she is waiting for the right opportunity to step into the world of OTT, and wishes to take on interesting projects, which are able to fully exploit her skills.
"I would love to explore the OTT space. This medium has taken over all other mediums of viewing the content in such a strong way that for any actor, this space is the current new place to be in. OTT has opened up so many opportunities for us actors in various genres, given people a chance to experiment with different kinds of roles, and made our jobs so much more interesting and fun that I just can't wait to give OTT a shot!," Rati told Spotboye.com in an exclusive chat. When quizzed about the kind of roles she would like to take on, Rati said, "To date, I have played characters which have always become very popular and built a strong connection with the audience, which I feel very fortunate for. So in the web space as well, I would like to take up something exciting, like maybe an action role. Where I can explore my acting abilities to the fullest." "Even in Porus [TV show on Sony TV], my role was action-based for which I had to learn so many techniques including horse riding which made my character on the show an even more interesting one. In real life, I am a very adventurous person and I love adventure-based activities, so if given a chance to take on another action-packed role, this time in the world of OTT, it would just be another amazing experience for me," she signed off.
