Reena Aggarwal Gets Dirty Messages For A So-Called Role In GOT; TV Star Fights Back
Indecent proposals to our girls in the name of TV serials and movies is common parlance, but now are our girls going to be tortured under the pretext of international projects too? SHAME! TERRIBLE!
We have heard of casting couch in the glamour industry in India. Have its tentacles spread further? Are sleazy offers now coming to our Indian actresses under the pretext of international projects too?
We strongly condemn such practices and hope that the police swings into action to reach out to such men and women, who come with up indecent talk/proposals, and put them BEHIND BARS if they're found guilty.
So yeah, it all began when a so-called casting agent who says that she (actually we suspect as if it is a he) is Nina Gold, sent WhatsApp messages to Kya Haal Hai Mister Panchal TV star Reena Aggarwal in the middle of Friday night, when she just about to doze off. The number flashing was +4474441955455, a call from the UK.
The message said that 'since it was a last-minute casting, Nina was directly contacting her and would like to chat with her further on the same'. This (fictitious?) Nina told Reena that she wanted her to play an Indian Princess in the upcoming season of Game Of Thrones (GOT).
Reena immediately smelt something fishy, primarily because the messenger was in tremendous hurry and said that the offer could not wait any longer for Reena, if she did not answer a few questions immediately. Nina was in no mood to talk, but preferred to be on WhatsApp only.
Reena was furious, but gathering her composure, decided to 'play along' as she smelt an exploitation racket. 
Reena's doubts were soon confirmed when the messenger in question shamelessly asked her to "spell out out her vital stats and further even asked her when did she last kiss a man other than her husband". 
Reena continued to 'play along' obviously wishing to expose the casting imposter, however the conversation turned nasty and Reena gave it back to 'Nina' or whosoever he/she is, before disconnecting her chat.
Talking to SpotboyE.com, Reena said, "This is exactly what happened. It was bizarre and crossed limits. The messages continued from Friday night till Saturday evening."
SpotboyE.com called on that number but after one ring, it got disconnected. We repeated the effort many times, but met with the same result. We even sent a WhatsApp text (the DP bears the picture of the real Nina Gold), but got no reply. A WhatsApp call went through, but nobody picked up.
God knows if other girls from India and other countries have been lured into sordid activities under the pretext of plum roles in international projects. We hope that's not the case.
But Reena is extremely disturbed. Adds the TV star, "This is exactly what has perturbed me. It is very much possible that many girls might have been tempted to go with her requirements and not end the conversation. Is this how Game Of Thrones' casting is done? Someone is definitely out to take girls for a ride. I want to do my bit in taking up the cudgels against such dirty people. I hope this story serves as an eye-opener."
We think it's some man, who was trying to mess with Reena. She replied, "Yes, looks like."
