Television actors Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla are currently over the moon as they are embracing parenthood for the first time. After being with each other for a long time, the couple welcomed their twin daughters in November. Fans have been looking forward to the new parents opening up about their experience of raising their little munchkins. Now the actors have taken to their official social media handles to share the glimpses of their daughters and reveal their names.
A month after giving birth to them, Rubina and Abhinav hosted a puja at their home before revealing the names of their twin daughters, Jeeva and Edhaa. Taking to Instagram, they shared photos of holding their daughters, their small adorable fists and the puja. They wrote, “Excited and extremely happy to share that our daughters, Jeeva and Edhaa are one month old Today …. Universe blessed us on the auspicious day of Gurpurab! Send in your wishes For our angels.”
As soon as the 36-year-old actress shared the photos, fans went gaga over them. They took to the comment section and showered the newborns with love and well wishes. One wrote, “Little Angels” Another wrote, “God bless both angels.” Other one said, “Jeeva and Edhaa...such beautiful names.” One commented, “Welcome our own Two cute little Rubina.” Another one commented, “daughters are the best.”
Recalling her hubby’s reaction, when they had come to know that they were having twins, Dilaik on her YouTube show had said, “Jab humein pehli baar pata chala that we are blessed with twins, I still remember Abhinav’s reaction, humne ultrasound mein dekha, he’s like no way! I said yeah, that’s the truth. He’s like no, no, no way! Maine kaha that’s the truth and that’s what the doctor is saying. Hum jaise hi clinic se bahar nikle, hum ghar wapas jaa rahe the, poore raste humne ek doosre se baat hi nahi ki. Matlab we were extremely excited and overjoyed to find out that we are pregnant, but this came out as a double surprise that we are blessed with twins but isko hum digest nahi kar paa rahe the.”
On the work front, Rubina Dilaik will be next seen in the Punjabi film Chal Bhajj Chaliye. She was last seen as a finalist in the celebrity dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 10. She was also a part of Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi season 12 and made a Hindi film debut with Palash Muchhal’s Ardh in 2022, which starred Rajpal Yadav in the lead role.
