Rubina Dilaik Reveals She Felt ‘Insecure’ About Her Relationship With Abhinav Shukla; Actress Thought ‘There Are Far Better Women Out There For Him’
Rubina Dilaik has revealed that she felt a little insecure about her relationship with her husband Abhinav Shukla even though the latter never made her feel that way. She thought that better and beautiful women are out there for him
Telly stars Rubina Dilaik and Abhinav Shukla are one of the most celebrated couples. The two got married to each other in June 2018 in their hometown, Shimla. Since their wedding, people got to know them via Instagram posts; however, RubiNav fans got to see their real side and their relationship when they featured in the Bigg Boss 14 house. Rubina had then confessed they had hit a rough patch in their marriage, and the show helped them to heal and mend the differences. The actress has now revealed that she felt a little insecure about her relationship with her husband Abhinav Shukla even though the latter never made her feel that way. She thought that far better and beautiful women are out there for him, due to which, she tended to beat herself up.
In an interview with radio host Siddharth Kannan, Rubina said that she never felt insecure because of Abhinav. “Insecurity aapko khud ko lekar hoti hai na ki ho sakta hai (You have internal insecurities where you feel that maybe) I am not good enough ya ho sakta hai (or maybe) that there are far better women out there for him. Mujh mein shayad yeh kami hogi, shayad yeh shortcoming hai which is why the relationship is not working.”
“You know you would just find reasons to beat yourself down. You find other opportunities, people or maybe girls out there that you feel are far beautiful, far competent, far deserving to have a man like him. These insecurities spill in and reflect on how you conduct, behave and react to situations. So, those insecurities… He has never made me feel insecure,” she added.
While still inside the Bigg Boss house, Rubina had revealed they were heading for a divorce before entering the house. However, over the course of time, their relationship healed. After getting out of the house, Shukla confirmed that they are not heading for divorce, and were happy with each other.
