Popular TV show Saath Nibhaana Saathiya is back with its second season! Just before the season went on air, a parody video created by Yashraj Mukhate titled Rasode Mein Kaun Tha had gone viral. The viral video showed actress Rupal Patel questioning her daughter-in-law played by Giaa Manek about who was in the kitchen in her absence, suspecting it to her another daughter-in-law, played by actress Rucha Hasabnis.
Now the makers released a promo of the upcoming episode of Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2, where Rupal who plays Kokilaben in the show has recreated this scene once again. This time she is asking Devoleena Bhattacharjee who plays Gopi Bahu, 'who prepared the prasad?'. The scene gets more intense with everyone gathering in the living room and actress Sneha Jain who plays the maid states the Prasad was made by her. Then Kokila asks her the ingredients that went into making it. While she agrees to put every ingredient in the Prasad named by Kokilaben, she denies putting egg in it.
Now this leads Kokilaben to ask the iconic question, “Gehna jab rasode se bahar gai thi to rasode mein kaun tha.” Watch the promo below-
Rupal Patel spoke about the show returning with season 2, and said, “Saath Nibhana Saathiya was a show which was so successful in the evening slot that it managed to make 7 pm a primetime slot. It was a superhit show which ran for 7 years. And usually business policy suggests that if something has benefited you so much they usually bring that property again. But I never imagined that during this time, they would suddenly decide to come back with Season 2.”
