Just yesterday we told you about veteran actor Mithun Chakraborty making a comeback to television with Sony TV’s new comedy show, The Drama Company, in which he will play a pivotal character and not himself.

And now SpotboyE.com has got another scoop related to The Drama Company. The show was tentatively titled as Comedy Company before it got its final title.
We have learnt that the title (The Drama Company) was reserved with Sohail Khan, which is when the show’s producers- Preeti Simoes & Neeti Simoes made an SOS call to Nadeem, who is Salman Khan’s trusted lieutenant.

Nadeem then had a word with Sohail Khan, who generously agreed to give away the title. And that’s how the show got its title- The Drama Company.
Sohail and Salman share a good rapport with the channel (Sony) and have appeared on a number of shows for them, the most recent one being, Super Night With Tubelight.

Talking more about The Drama Company, the makers have already roped in comedian Krushna Abhishek and Sudesh Lahiri, Dr. Sanket Bhosale, Sugandha Mishra and many more renowned faces. Mithun Chakraborty is the latest addition in the list.

Considering it a challenge to be a part of The Drama Company Mithun Chakraborty expressed his views to a section of media and said, “For the first time, I will not be playing myself on Television but a very interesting character with a lot of quirks. While it is challenging after hearing the creative details from the makers, it is going to be a challenge worth taken.”
