Sanjeeda Shaikh On Not Allowing Ex-Husband Aamir Ali To Meet Their Daughter: ‘Doing Everything To Bring Her Up In A Positive Environment’

Earlier this year, actors Sanjeeda Shaikh and Aamir Ali shocked their fans after their announced their separation on social media. They parted ways mutually after 9 years of togetherness. Recently, a media report claimed that the actress is not letting Aamir meet their daughter Arya and that it’s been 9 months since he has seen or met his baby girl. Now, Sanjeeda in a recent interview has reacted to such claims. She asserted that as a single parent she is doing everything to give her ‘daughter the best of the best.’
Speaking to Hindustan Times, the Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa actress said that she feels people are more interested to know about her professional front than her personal life. She dismissed all such reports and said, “I think people are more interested to know what’s happening in my professional life than my personal life. So let’s keep your personal life private only. As for the rumours, I’d just say, as a single parent, I’m doing everything to give my daughter the best of the best. The report added that post their separation, both Sanjeeda and Aamir decided to co-parent their 3-year-old daughter Arya but now the actress is not allowing the actor to meet his daughter. In fact, it is being said that even Aamir does not ask or force Shaikh to let him meet his daughter as he does not want to get into any quarrel with her.
For the unversed, Sanjeeda Shaikh and Aamir Ali were friends before their realized that what they feel for each other was more than friendship. Reportedly, the actress liked his sweet nature and Aamir was in awe of her utter beauty and nature. They both dated for seven years before getting married in 2012. Both confessed to being in a relationship for years on the reality show Nach Baliye 3 where they made their relationship official. In March 2012, Aamir and Sanjeeda tied the knot in a grand ceremony in Mumbai, followed by a lavish and star-studded reception. However, since mid-2019, reports claiming trouble in their marriage paradise have been doing rounds. This year in January, they got officially divorced after nine years of marriage.
