Actress Sonya Saamoor reveals the upcoming twist to take place in Zee TV’s new show Sanjog
Rashmi Sharma Telefilms recently launched Sanjog and it will soon witness a major drama. In the upcoming episodes, it will be revealed that Rajeev (Rajniesh Duggall) and Rakshita (Sonya Saamoor) are in a relationship. According to our sources, "Amid the anniversary celebration of Rajeev and Amrita, Rakshita will take Rajeev inside the room. There will be a confrontation sequence, where she will ask him how long they need to pretend that they are not dating?"
We got in touch with Sonya, to know more about the upcoming track. The pretty actress told us, "Rakshita is dating Rajeev, who is incidentally, her best friend Amrita's (Shefali Sharma) husband. In my previous interviews, I haven't revealed this because this was one of the biggest turning points of the show."
She further added, “Rakshita and Rajeev are head over heels in love with each other. She is waiting for him to end the marriage because he had promised that he is going to give divorce to Amrita.”
Earlier, she has done shows like Nazar, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Sirf Tum, and Shakti. Talking about her role in the show, Sonya said, "It's one of the most challenging roles of my career because it has several layers to it. Rakshita is a nice person, but the situation she is in is bad. She has a lot of guilt that she is dating her best friend's husband. Since Rajeev constantly assures her that he is going to marry her, that's why she is stuck in a situation where she needs to sacrifice her friendship.”
