Sayantani gives ultimatum to Santoshi Maa producer, threatens to walk out

Trouble seems to be brewing between the makers of Santoshi Maa and Sayantani Ghosh, who plays Poulomi Maa (Goddess of Jealousy) in the mythological TV show.

The actress has told producer Rashmi Sharma that she wants to opt out of the show.

Reason – Sayantani is unhappy that her blocked dates are not used to the optimum. While the actress has been asked to block her dates every month, the unit ends up shooting only 10 days each month with her.
Talking to SpotboyE, the actress said, “I am talks with the production house to sort out these issues. If it works out, fine. If it doesn’t, I’ll move on.”
Sayantani has almost made up her mind about leaving the &TV show. In fact, she revealed that she has already been approached for another biggie. “I’m in talks for something very big in the fiction space. You will soon hear about it,” she said, refusing to divulge any more details. And what about rumours that she might be seen in the next season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa? “No, I’m not a part of it,” she clarified.
