Sehrish Ali Breaks Down On Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega Set And The Reason Is Nishant Singh Malkani
It is said that a character is always bigger than an actor on television. To slip smoothly into the character, one needs to understand the thin line between reality and fiction and convey the right emotions and expressions to attain the perfect shot. While shooting intense emotional scenes, most actors need to come to reality with their character and forget their personal state of mind, so that they can give correct expressions. Most actors try their best to do so, but sometimes get carried away owing to their emotions.

One such actor is Indian television's gorgeous bahu Sehrish Ali, who essays the character of Lakshmi Jindal in Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega. Recently, Sehrish was shooting for a sequence wherein her co-actor Nishant Singh Malkani (Akshat Jindal) had to be put behind bars  for a crime that he probably hasn’t committed. Guess what happened next!

For some reason, Sehrish couldn't take stock of her emotions. The actress broke down  in the middle of the shot. Being an extremely emotional and sensitive individual, Sehrish related to the sequence on a personal level and imagined herself to be in Akshat’s position! Moreover, she shares a great bond with Nishant and seeing him in an unforeseen/unpleasant situation added to her feelings/state of mind.

Sehrish says, “I am extremely emotional as a person and get deeply attached to things as well. I try to keep my professional and personal life separate like every other actor does but while shooting for this particular sequence, I felt a different rush of emotions. While shooting for this sequence I felt like I was being punished for a crime I haven’t committed, and that feeling was difficult to digest. As actors, sometimes it gets hard to hold back on emotions and we do end up reacting in a realistic manner. Moreover, Nishant is a dear friend and seeing him in this situation took a toll on me but we managed to shoot the sequence eventually and I hope it’s the perfect shot.”

Rona-dhona on-screen par toh laga hi rehta hai on our small screen. Ab, off-screen bhi?
