Singer and industrialist Shael Oswal and actor-producer Samiksha Oswal got married in a gurudwara in Singapore last year during the lockdown. However, the two were in Mumbai during their 1st wedding anniversary and made sure they hosted a private celebration for their close and Industry friends.
The much-in-love couple has not only been together on a personal but also on a professional front. The duo released a few music videos during the lockdown which they mostly shot themselves and the songs generated quite a buzz in the market. For their anniversary celebrations, Samiksha’s close friends and colleagues dropped in to be a part of their day.
One of the first to walk in was JD Majethia and his wife who as usual was in his best avatar. Samiksha’s co-stars from Porus, Vasundhara Kaul, and Shraddha Musale were all happy and smiling for the shutterbugs. Manish Goel and his wife Poonam were seen interacting and discussing work while Ashlesha Sawant and Sandeep Baswana were at their posing best. TV Producer Siddharth Tewary and his wife Gayatri Gill walked in last but made the most of it.
Others who were seen having a gala time were Shahleen Malhotra, Riya Deepsi, Director N Padmakumar, Choreographer Firoz A Khan too shook a leg while singer Moin Sabri was seen chatting with producer Naveen Kwatra. The night ended as the host, Shael took the center stage and sang some of his best compositions while others joined in and sang solo as well.
The party was hosted at Shael and Samiksha's plush Worli Sea Face residence and the entire house and lawn area was decorated with full fanfare for the guests. Samiksha made sure she personally monitored everything.
“This party was due but in a bigger and much grander way. However, due to Covid restrictions in the city, hosting a party at home was the best thing to do and even our guests were comfortable. Since our wedding last year we had been looking for celebratory days but due to repeated lockdown, we could not do that. We are really happy we could manage this one and meet and greet everyone which was long due," said the couple.
