Shagufta Ali speaks about finally getting work and being able to get back to sets. The actress was in dire need of money since a long time
Shagufta Ali, popular TV and Bollywood actress, came out to ask for help from those who can as the actress is in a dire need of financial assistance and work. In July, talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively, she had said she needs money for her and her mother's medical treatment and also to repay the debt which she had to take due to no work from last 4 years.
And now, the actress has finally got work. The veteran actress shot for a film in Dehradun recently, though it was a small budget film titled Sumeru, but Shagufta was more than grateful for it.
Talking to us exclusively Shagfuta Ali said,
"Yes, I had gone to Dehradun, it was a two day shoot but my character in the film is important. This has definitely given me some hope and I am wishing that I start getting more work now. Finally, my prayers are being answered."
Talking about the film the actress said, "It's a love story and shot beautifully."
The film posters of the film released yesterday, featuring actor Avinash Dhyani and actress Sanskriti Bhatt striking a romantic pose, with the tagline “Re Chhore Yo Pyaar Hai Thari Samajh Ke Bahar Hai." The film is being produced under the banner of Padma Siddhi Films and has been written and directed by the lead actor, Avinash Dhyani.
Talking about Shagufta Ali who is going through a major financial crunch owing to her health issues, well, the actress had told SpotboyE.com, "I keep getting audition calls and I do give them because if I don't do that, they will not give me work. Unfortunately, that is also not happening anymore as nowadays auditions are happening on video and that is not possible for me because I don't have anyone to record at home as I have a rod in my hand and if I operate a phone then I can't perform. And mummy has arthritis so she can't take my video. I tell them to come home and do it. Only once they came to the house and did my audition but nothing worked out there also. The time is such that acche projects aakar na ho rahe and kai projects to mujhe reason hi nahi samajh aa raha ki kyu mana ho rahe hain."
