Actor Shaheer Sheikh is TV’s heartthrob, enjoying a huge fan base; the actor has played various role on screen totally winning the audience. Amidst of the ockdown, many GECs are running old shows to entertain the audeince. One of them is Mahabharat which sees this handsome actor in the role of Arjun. Few hours ago, the actor shared a throwback picture of him of his transformation for this role. Like always his fans especially his female fans went gaga over his transformation picture. 

The actor in his caption mentioned about gaining 20 kg for his role of Arjun and we must say he totally nailed it. Shaheer who played Anant in the TV show, Navya..Naye Dhadkan Naye Sawaal weighed 75 kg, but in order to do justice to his role of Arjun he gained 20kg and later weighed 95kg. He mentioned of this journey being physically as well as mentally challenging for him. Pictures shared by the actor has him sporting a leaner physique as he sports denim and casual t-shirt, in another image on the collage he looks all pumped up, sporting his chiseled body in gym. 

He captioned this image as, “From 75kgs to 95kgs, the transition from being ‘Anant’ to becoming ‘Arjun’ was a big journey for me physically and mentally.”

In conversation with SpotboyE.com, when the actor was asked about his first reaction when he was selected for the role, his answer left us in splits. 

He said, “Clearly, in fact! When the guy, who was taking my audition told me I am selected, I literally ran away. I told them, "I won't be able to do it. It's very difficult as I haven't done anything like this before.” Mahabharat was aired on StarPlus in the year 2013-14.
