Coronavirus cases are increasing day by day. On Tuesday, Shaheer Sheikh took to his social media handle and informed his fans and followers that his father is suffering from a severe covid infection and has been put on a ventilator. The actor also urged his fans to pray for his father.

The actor shared a picture of his father and wrote, "My dad is on a ventilator, suffering from a severe covid infection... pls keep him in your prayers." Reacting to him, Karanvir Sharma wrote, "Wishing him a speedy recovery. Please do let me know if you need anything." Vatsal Sheth wrote, "Prayers." Shaheer's fans too reacted to his post. A fan wrote, "Take care Shaheer.. sending lots of prayers and good wishes for his recovery, he will recover.. just take care." Another fan wrote, "You are the pillar of strength for him so you hav to be strong and everything will fall at its right place. Collective prayers frm all side are coming." Recently, Shaheer shared his parent's photo on his social media to wish his father on birthday. He had written, "Thank you for leading by example. Thank you for instilling in us the right moral code and values #happybirthdaypapa."

On the work front, Shaheer is currently seen in Pavitra Rishta 2.0. His chemistry with Ankita Lokhande is loved by many. The actor was last seen in Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi alongside Erica Fernandes.

On the other hand, he is married to Ruchikaa Kapoor. The couple welcomed their daughter in September last year. They named her Anaya. Shaheer keeps sharing his daughter's adorable moments on Instagram.
