Shaheer Sheikh's Father Passes Away After Contracting COVID-19; Aly Goni Offers Condolences
Shaheer Sheikh's father is no more. His father Shahnawaz Sheikh, who was battling COVID-19, and was on a ventilator, passed away on Wednesday. Aly Goni took to Twitter to share the news about Shaheer's dad's demise in a tweet. He wrote, "Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un May Allah rest uncle's soul in peace bhai @Shaheer_S stay strong bhai."

Shaheer's fans extended their support to the family. "May departed soul rest in peace in heaven.. May Allah grant him highest rank in jannat.. Heartfelt condolences to whole family.. May God give u grt strength to bear this irreparable grt loss.. More power & strength to you," wrote a fan. Another tweeted, "It's really hard to believe.. May his soul rest in peace.. very sorry for your loss Shaheer.. may God give you all strength.. Stay strong and take care of yourself and your family." On Wednesday, Shaheer had shared a photo of his father and informed his fans that his dad had contracted coronavirus and was on a ventilator. He also urged fans to pray for him. Shaheer had tweeted, "My dad is on a ventilator, suffering from a severe covid infection... pls keep him in our prayers."

On the work front, Shaheer is currently seen in Pavitra Rishta 2.0. It also stars Ankita Lokhande among others. The actor was last seen in Kuch Rang Pyaar Ke Aise Bhi alongside Erica Fernandes. He is married to Ruchikaa Kapoor. Last year in September, the couple welcomed a baby girl whom they named Anaya.
