Shahnawaz Pradhan PASSES Away Due To A Heart Attack At An Award Function- REPORTS
Actor Shahnawaz Pradhan, who left the audience amazed with his acting chops in various Bollywood movies and television shows, left for his heavenly abode on Friday night. He was attending an award ceremony in Mumbai alongside actor Yashpal Sharma when shortly after receiving his award he collapsed. As reported by PTI, the late actor was in his 50s.

According to a post by Sharma, Pradhan was then rushed to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, the nearest hospital to the venue. However, upon reaching there the doctor’s couldn’t revive him. Cine And TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) body through a tweet shared the details of his last rites. Expressing their deep condolences, they wrote, “Cremation details of Shri Shahnawaz Pradhan. Date: Saturday, 18th February 2023, Time: 12:30 pm. Khoja Shia Ishna Ashari Jamaat Arambaug, Mazgaon, Mumbai.”


Yashpal took to Instagram to share the sad news with the followers. Sharing a photo of the late actor, he wrote in Hindi, “Today I attended this program in Mumbai... Everything was going great... Hundreds of artists were present but shortly after receiving the award our beloved artist Shahnawaz had an attack… The whole program stopped with the help of the people and the doctor picked him up and took him to Kokilaben Hospital which was the closest but no one could save him and he passed away... May his soul rest in peace and courage to the family.”


Actor Rajesh Tailang, who worked with Shahnawaz in Mirzapur, wrote, “Shahnawaz bhai aakhiri salaam!!! You were an amazing person and a great actor. Had a great time working with you in Mirzapur #purushram #mirzapur.” Many journalists and television actors have taken to social media to express their deep shock and mourn the loss of a credible actor. Many have even extended their condolences towards the family of the actor.


For the unversed, Shahnawaz Pradhan has been a part of movies like M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Khuda Haafiz, Raees and Phantom. He has also worked in web-series like The Family Man and Hostages, television shows Krishna, 24 and many others.
