Shamita Shetty and Raqesh Bapat, who first met and fell in love on the reality show 'Bigg Boss OTT', have called it quits. Yes, you read that right! After months of speculations, the actress has finally confirmed their separation on social media. On Tuesday, Shamita shared a note saying she and Raqesh ‘are no longer together.’ The news of their break-up has come as a huge shock for all ShaRa fans.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Shetty posted a note that read, “I think it's imp to make this clear. Raqesh n I are no longer together and have not been for a while, but this music video is for all the beautiful fans who've given us so much love n support. Do continue to shower us with ur love as individuals too. Here's to positivity and newer horizons. Love and gratitude to you.” Shamita and Raqesh will be seen together in a music video, which they had shot for in May. A few days ago, the Maryada actor penned a hard-hitting note, hitting back at trolls questioning his break-up with Shamita Shetty. Raqesh urged everyone to not comment brutally on someone's personal life.
For the unversed, Shamita and Raqesh started dating when they met in Bigg Boss OTT house last year. They were also seen together in Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 15 where the actor joined Shetty as a wildcard contestant. In March 2022, their families met each other in Pune and rumour had it that both the actors will soon get married.
However, later, rumours of trouble in their relationship started doing the rounds.
