Shilpa Shetty Bags Plum Deal, MasterChef India On Star Plus- EXCLUSIVE
Shilpa Shetty is on cloud nine. Apart from her fitness endeavours, what’s keeping her busy is her comeback vehicle, Nikamma. Now, the next project on her cards is going to be the forthcoming season of MasterChef India. Rumour has it that the actress has been finalised for the 6th season of the popular series. No prizes for guessing that she will be the main face of the show. The modalities are fast being walked out.

There is a strong likelihood of additional chefs sharing screen space with her. Goes without saying that she would have been paid a whopping amount for the upcoming season! As such she has been looking for creamy offers about which she has said (in not exact words) in some of her recent interviews.

The first season was judged by Akshay Kumar in the year 2010 along with chefs Kunal Kapur and Ajay Chopra. The second season saw Vikas Khanna, Kunal Kapur and Ajay Chopra. Then, in the third season, Ajay Chopra was replaced by Sanjeev Kapoor. Next, in season 4, Vikas Khanna and Sanjeev Kapoor were joined by Ranveer Brar and then, the fifth part saw Vikas Khanna, Kunal Kapur and Zorawar Kalra. The last one went on air in 2016 and it’s been 3 years and the makers haven’t yet launched the next season. In the interim, there was also the Junior MasterChef India airing on Star Plus in 2013.
