Shivangi Joshi responds to news of her exiting Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Speaking exclusively to SpotboyE, the lady reveals she’s here to stay and teases fans to be prepared for some interesting developments.
SpotboyE.com reported that there is a strong buzz in telly town that Shivangi Joshi who plays character of Naira in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai might exit the show in the near future. A new actress would be introduced meanwhile, establishing her chemistry with Kartik (Mohsin Khan) which will sideline Shivangi's track. And this we heard was a creative decision. This news came as a shock to us and we tried to reach out to Shivangi but the actress couldn't reply till the time we went live with the story.
However, now Shivangi has broken her silence and reacted to the whole matter. Shivangi in her reply says, "This is to clear the air that I am not going anywhere, I had a wonderful journey portraying Naira in these 4 years and it will continue to be so. In fact, there is a very special treat for all Yeh Rishta fans and we will be coming to surprise you all.” We heaved a sigh of relief after hearing from Shivangi. She really owns the character of Naira and seeing someone else slip into her shoes would indeed have been a shame.
Not just us, even Shivangi Joshi’s crazy fans out there who would have been heartbroken with the news, now have reason to celebrate. The lady by her own admission isn’t going anywhere, not right now, at least.
