TV couple Shoaib Ibrahim and wife Dipika Kakar celebrated 10 years of their 1st meeting on March 14, 2021. Shoaib and Dipika did their mock shoot for the TV show, Sasural Simar Ka on March 14, 2011, and hence this called for a celebration. Shoaib took to his Instagram account and posted an image presenting his now-wife Dipika a rose, while she is seen blushing. In his caption, he went a little filmy by penned down a line from the song Aaj Unse Pehli Mulaqat from the movie, Paraya Dhan.
He wrote in his Instagram caption, “Aaj inse pehli mulaqaat hui thi, Phir aamne saamne baat hui thi. This was the day when @ms.dipika and I met for the very first time for the audition for #sasuralsimarka in 2011To know more watch the Vlog on my youtube channel link in bio” The duo also shared a video on their YouTube channel where the actor was seen gifting Dipika a tote bag, while Dipika promises to cook something special for him. The actor’s sister was seen stepping into the shoes of an interviewer and getting out many unknown deets about their first meet.
The duo shared that they instantly found that connection during their first meet. While Shoaib knew Dipika was already finalized for the lead before her, she also shared that she hoped makers finalise Shoaib as he suited the bill.
Later, the actor’s mother too as a gift for the duo waved off what he had borrowed from her, this brought a huge smile to the actor’s face.
