definitely creates noise.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is witnessing this yet again!
This time Kanchi Singh, who plays the character of Gayu aka Gayatri, has
decided to QUIT the show.
Well yes, she is not happy with the way her role is
progressing in the serial and feels it’s been neglected in the bargain of
glorifying the lead couple of the show- Mohsin Khan (Kartik) and Shivangi Joshi
(Naira).
Confirming the news to SpotboyE.com, Kanchi said, “Yes, I
have quit the show as I didn’t see a future of my character in it. I was not
happy with the way it was progressing,”
When asked if she conveyed her displeasure over it to the
makers of the show, Kanchi said, “I did but they can only do little about it as
they have many plots and sub-plots to play,”
Kanchi’s notice period has begun and she will shoot her
last episode in September. However she quickly added that things may not pan
out as per the notice period and her last day could be any day with effect from
today.
Kanchi has been an integral part of the show and has
received accolades for her performance. She is quite famous in the TV world and
has a lot of fan following on social media as well.
