Shocking! Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai Actress Deblina Chatterjee Quits Show
Bad news for Deblina Chatterjee fans as the actress has decided to quit her popular show, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She has already shot her last scene in the show as well
In coming time, say goodbye to Deblina Chatterjee aka Gaayu from Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. The actress has made up her mind to quit the show and has in fact, shot for the last scene as well. And the reason? Well, same old story! SpotboyE.com has found out that after the leap in the show, Deblina doesn’t want to play a mother n-screen.
“Deblina was unhappy with the leap. She didn’t want to play a mother to a 5-year-old. Hence, she informed the production house about her decision of discontinuing with the show,” a source informs us.
Yesterday, we had brought to you that the show will take a 5-year leap and how the storyline will pan out. Naira aka Shivangi will die in an accident and after 5 years she will be seen living her life with a different identity.
Deblina stepped into Kanchi Singh’s shoes to play Gaayu. However, she went missing from the show after a while as the track shifted towards Shivangi Singh aka Naira’s brain tumour twist. We had spoken to Deblina about her missing act and she had told us at that time, “While I was signing the show, the makers did inform me that owing to a certain track, I might have to wait in between. I am considering this to be the phase. I hope to make a comeback soon.”
Later, Chatterjee was brought in again and a huge drama of her pregnancy before marriage unfolded, after which she got married to Kartik's youngest uncle, Samir Onkar. Deblina is not the only one who has quit the show as she didn't want to play a mother, before her, Eisha Singh, Drashti Dhami, Meera Deosthale have also left their respective shows for the same reason.
