Shweta Tiwari Says ‘Kids Are My Priority’ After Abhinav Kohli’s Accusation That She Abandoned Their Son: ‘Don’t Owe Justification To Anyone’

A few weeks ago, Shweta Tiwari had jetted off to Cape Town, to participate in the stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi, hosted by Rohit Shetty. Soon after she took off, her estranged husband Abhinav Kohli accused her of abandoning their son to go participate in Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. He claimed that he wasn’t aware where Shweta has kept Reyansh, and that she left him amid the pandemic. Shweta had later denied these claims and said that she had informed Abhinav that Reyansh was staying with her family. Now, in a recent interview, Shweta opened up about her kids being her priority, and how she doesn’t owe anyone a clarification or justification.
While speaking to ETimes, Shweta said that ups and downs are part of life, but that doesn’t mean one should keep their goals, responsibilities aside and run after the problems or those creating them. “My priority is my kids. I will focus on them and keep working because only that’s going to help me in the long run. I don’t owe any justification or clarification to anyone because I know what’s good for my children. No one knows it better than me. I know how to keep my kids physically and mentally healthy, give them a better life and take care of them,” she said.
Shweta further added that she is totally dedicated to her kids as well as her work, which is why she keeps working. She also mentioned that at the same time, she is also in touch with her kids, and at night, she and her kids sleep with their video calling app on so that they can see each other every time they wake up.
