Popular TV actor Sidharth Shukla, who died last year due to a heart attack, would have turned 42 today if alive. 12th December marks his birth anniversary and to mark the occasion, he is being fondly remembered and missed by his countless fans, well-wishers, and celebrities. Even his rumoured girlfriend and close friend Shehnaaz Gill remembered Sidharth and posted an emotional message along with their unseen pictures on Instagram. Gill had also cut cakes in his name at midnight.
The actress shared photos of two cakes, one with ‘Sid’ and another with ‘12:12’ written on it. She even dropped her unseen romantic picture with Sidharth on her Instagram stories. Shehnaaz also posted a solo picture of the late actor from Bigg Boss 13 stage and wrote, “i will see you again 12 12.” In the picture, Sidharth was seen in a white shirt and black jacket, running his fingers through his hair. Many fans and celebrities reacted to her post and wished the actor on his birthday. Kashmera Shah commented, “Yes. Not to forget, Shehnaaz had recently paid a heartfelt tribute to Sidharth while accepting her award at Filmfare Middle East Achievers Night in Dubai. In her speech she said, “Main ek bande ko thank you bolna chahti hu ...thank you meri life me aane ke lie aur merpe itna invest kiya ki aaj main yaha tak phuchi hu...this is for you Sidharth Shukla.”
Sidharth and Shehnaaz first met on the reality show 'Bigg Boss 13' where they won millions of hearts with their cute chemistry and strong bond. Although Sid had never accepted their relationship in public, Gill has always been very vocal about her feelings for him. The actor's sudden death left her heartbroken and post several months she put up a brave front and resumed her work.
For the unversed, Sidharth Shukla breathed his last on September 2, 2021, at the age of 40 at his residence in Mumbai.
