Actor Sidharth Shukla passed away on Thursday morning. The actor was 40 years old. He is  survived by his mother and two sisters. According to ANI, Sidharth was taken to the Cooper Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai where he was declared dead on arrival. Reportedly, his rumoured girlfriend and actress Shehnaaz Gill was by his side when he breathed his last. The Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania's funeral is expected to take place today.

Bigg Boss 13 winner's mortal remains were kept at the Cooper Hospital on Thursday night after the post-mortem and preparations for his last rites are currently underway. In a video shared by a famous paparazzo, one can see police and reporters standing outside the hospital. An ambulance also arrived to carry the late actor's body for last rites.

On the other hand, Aly Goni, Asim Riaz, Rashami Desai, Vikas Gupta arrived at the late actor's residence. As many know, Asim was also a part of Bigg Boss 13. Asim took to Instagram to mourn the actor's demise. Sharing their photos from Bigg Boss 13, Asim wrote, "I m gonna meet you in heaven brother.. R I P SidharthShukla. He also shared a video with him from their Bigg Boss 13 journey and wrote, "I had a dream in the morning about the bigg boss journey.. And I saw Siddharth after watching his bb clip he came and gave me a hug to me. I still can't believe this, see you on the other side SID." Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin visited the actor's house yesterday after his death. Taking to Twitter, he wrote about Shehnaaz Gill, "Chehre jo hamesha haste hue dekha.. Khush dekha.. lekin aaj jaisa dekha bass dil toot gaya.. stay strong sana.. #numb #heartbroken."
