Sidharth Shukla's last rites were held at Oshiwara crematorium, Mumbai on Friday. His close friends and other Bigg Boss 13 colleagues, including Asim Riaz, Arti Singh, Rashami Desai, Arjun Bijlani, Aly Goni, Arjun Bijlani, Nikki Tamboli and Jaan Kumar Sanu among others paid their last respects. Amongst them was Sidharth’s lady love Shehnaaz Gill, who had been with the actor in his last moments. Shehnaaz, who looked heartbroken and devastated at the funeral, also performed a special puja before the cremation.

According to a report in Peepingmoon, before cremating Sidharth, the family had to perform a puja. The deceased actor's family, on being asked, permitted Shehnaaz to perform it. The picture of her doing the puja also surfaced online, showing Shehnaaz sitting with a pandit and performing the puja with his family.

One could see in her eyes, she was lost and was all heartbroken. Reportedly, Shehnaaz could not see Sidharth embarking on his final journey and shouted 'Sidharth, Sidharth’ before his cremation. The report also stated that she fainted twice at the crematorium and a doctor was called to check her.

On arriving at the crematorium, Shehnaaz was seen crying inconsolably in her car with brother Shehbaz. Later, she stepped out of the car and entered the crematorium. Sidharth's mother Rita Shukla too was seen at the venue. Heavy police was deployed to keep the situation in control.
