Smriti Khanna's Delivery Shot On Camera; Actress Shares Emotional Video Chronicling Her Daughter's Birth On Her First Birthday - WATCH
Amidst the pandemic and lockdown, TV actress Smriti Khanna welcomed her baby girl to this world. In the month of April last year, Smriti and hubby Gautam Gupta embarked on the journey of parenthood. It's been a year already. To mark her baby daughter's first birthday, Smriti Khanna took to her Instagram account to share a video that captures moments from the time of her birth till she turned one. The video has Anayka Gupta's glimpses from when she was just a few minutes old to her cutting the cake with mom.

While sharing this video, Smriti Khanna captioned it as, "You’re the sweetest gift that came during such crazy times. You have been our sunshine in darkness and reminded us that life is so beautiful. I love you to the moon and back a million times over. Happy born day my princess. I’m so blessed to be your mumma."

Celebrity friends like Arjun Bijlani, Esha Deol, Casting Chhabra, Kishwer Merchant, Sara Khan and many others dropped comments wishing the little one.

Post the birth of the baby, Smriti had EXCLUSIVELY spoken to SpotboyE and revealed how it was going to the hospital amidst the pandemic. She said, "Honestly, I used to feel scared even during my doctor visits. But the day I was going for my delivery, I kept myself positive throughout. When we reached the hospital, there were not too many people as they had stopped taking admissions, so only the maternity and emergency wards were open in Hinduja Hospital, Khar. After every two hours, they were sanitising, so it made me feel secure. Thankfully, everything went smoothly and after my delivery,  I didn't watch any news for 3 days as I didn't want any negative thoughts in my head."
