Soundarya Sharma is renowned for her stint on Bigg Boss, is recognized for her straightforwardness. Praised by many fans and netizens for being the only actress in Indian film history to share screen space with Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and Akshay Kumar in a single project, she faced criticism for her involvement in a commercial endorsing tobacco products. A significant portion of the audience raised objections against the use of India's top superstars in promoting such products. While Akshay Kumar terminated his association with the brand, the other stars have yet to comment on the matter.
While drawing a clear distinction between her personal and professional choices, Soundarya shared her viewpoint to silence critics with a clear message and intent. She said, "The advertisement was a big opportunity for me and I think for any actor to share the screen space with Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar in the same project would be a huge and unprecedented space and deal. In my professional capacity, as an actor, given an opportunity like this, I will certainly pick it up. It doesn't necessarily have to be my personal choice. I am very upright as a person, a dentist, and an individual."
She further adds, "Neither I support nor endorse any wrong aspect/ consumption of any product or brand. Having said that, my personal opinion may vary from my career choices." Soundarya Sharma is known for her appearance on Bigg Boss 16 further elaborated further, stating, "I underwent an audition process among 500+ girls and secured this opportunity exclusively. It wouldn't have been sensible to decline such a significant chance, knowing it would make me the first to share screen space with SRK, Akshay Kumar, and Ajay Devgn in a single project."
She concluded and said, "This opportunity overwhelmed me and held immense importance for my acting career. Additionally, I believe people are well aware of the positives and negatives associated with what they consume, so it's challenging to impose restrictions on their personal choices."
