Sony TV’s popular singing reality show 'Superstar Singer 2' has concluded with 14-year-old Mohammad Faiz from Jodhpur emerging as the winner of the show. He took home the coveted trophy and cash prize of Rs. 15 lakhs. Mohammad, who has been consistently giving brilliant performances, was declared 'Singing Ka Kal'. Talking about his big win, Mohammad shared that he can’t put in words how it feels to live a moment he has dreamt of.
In a statement, Mohammad Faiz said it still feels like a dream to him. He stated, “Being on Superstar Singer 2 is an achievement by itself. When I gave the auditions, never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine that I will not only be in the TOP 6 but also win the coveted trophy. I am unable to describe this feeling in words, it’s so surreal. It still feels like a dream to me. I would like to thank all the viewers and my fans i.e., Faizians who have showered me with so much of love and votes.” He added that the show has been an enriching experience for him and he feels extremely delighted and proud to have received this opportunity to showcase his talent.
Mohammad Faiz from Arunita Kanjilal's team competed against contestants-Mani from Dharamkot, Pranjal Biswas, Sayisha Gupta, Aryananda R Babu and Rituraj. Mani and Mohali's Sayisha were the first and second runner-ups, respectively, in the show, which was judged by singers Himesh Reshammiya, Alka Yagnik, and Javed Ali.
