So, this is what you can expect to see in 24 Season 2 this weekend. Certain circumstances will force Maya (Surveen Chawla) to confess her love for Jai Singh Rathod (Anil Kapoor). She won’t reveal her feelings to Jai, but her father Omkar (Yashodhan Bal).
Maya also tells her dad about Jai’s promise to help them escape from Haroon Sherchan’s (Sikander Kher) captivity. She further asks Omkar to ensure that Jai remains safe.
But, will Omkar agree? Will he accept his daughter’s love for Jai or will he reject it? Will he inform Haroon about Jai’s plans? In less than 48 hours, you’ll have all the answers.
Yesterday, we told you about another development that will take place this weekend in the show -- Sakshi Tanwar and Harsh Chhaya reuniting on screen after 11 years (Sakshi Tanwar & Harsh Chhaya to share screen space after 11 years, Aug 12).
Harsh will enter the show as senior intelligence officer Siddharth Saigal. He will enter ATU with the mission of thwarting Jai’s attempts, but he also has a secret past which will soon come to the fore. In ATU, he will meet its chief Shibani Mallick (Sakshi), who is also his ex-wife, and the two will be at loggerheads.
Talking about his entry in the show, the actor said, “I still remember the first time Sakshi and I shot together for a show in Delhi. Since then, things have not changed much except that Sakshi has now grown and transformed into an incredible actor. I am glad that we have gotten a chance to work together after almost a decade. We had an amazing time shooting and re-connecting with each other.”
